The Norcross Family: Mommy's Chunky Monkey!

Well, Isaac had his big weigh-in on Wednesday! He's nursed his way up to 8lbs, 130z! Almost a whole pound gain in just one week! WHOA! Not only is Isaac growing in size, but he is also discovering new things every day! He makes more purposeful movements now, especially with his arms and hands. He also "coos", holds his head up to look around the room, and tracks us with his eyes! His sleeping patterns are pretty good, but I am looking forward to when he starts sleeping through the night...though that may be a ways off! So far, he does great in church too (whew)!

Isaac had his first real bath on Wednesday night! He liked it for about a minute and when I washed his bum...other than that, he didn't find it fun. But since then mommy and daddy have made some adjustments like adding more water and using a fresh from the dryer towel to wrap him in...and now he enjoys bath time!

We have an appointment with the orthopedic doctor on Tuesday to see just what we need to do to straighten out his foot. For those of you that don't know, Isaac's left foot curves in slightly at the ball of his foot. His doctor thought it would correct itself but when it didn't, she referred us to an orthopedic doctor. We are praying that it will be a minor correction that doesn't cause our little man any discomfort. We'll update you as soon as we know more.
